MOSCOW is the city to be visited. It is one of the oldest and most mesmerising metropolises in the world. Moscow has a long and dramatic history. Resurrection Gate is the only existing gate of the Kitai-gorod in Moscow. It joins the north-western end of Red Square with Manege Square and gives its name to Voskresenskaya Square (known as Resurrection Square) located nearby. In front of the chapel there is a bronze plaque marking kilometre zero of the Russian highway system. Alexander Garden is one of Moscow's first public parks. There are three separate gardens placed along the western Kremlin wall. The State Historical Museum of Russia is a museum of Russia's history located between Red Square and Manege Square. Its displays range from relics of the prehistoric people that live on the territory of present-day Russia to valuable artworks acquired by the members of the Romanov dynasty.
